Internet Resources
When I studied inquiry class, one of my subjects is curriculum resources by subject. As you know there is a lot of resource in everywhere. However, I wanted to more focus on specific something. So, I just came up about Internet resource. Cause, these days many students are used to use a computer and technology. During I founded and collected information about Internet resources I found a book that Cruz, B.C. & Duplass, J.A. (2007). The elementary teacher’s guide to the best Internet resources. New Jersey: Pearson Education, Inc.
That book introduce about Content background information sites/ Lesson plans, strategies, and the class materials sites/ and Children’s site.
In the book I like this quot “The infusion approach is where a teacher has as idea for a lesson plan and wants to infuse resources from the Internet into his or her lesson. Internet resources can be choreographed into the instruction in four ways; content, a task or activity, teaching materials, and an extension”(p8)
I think the Internet resources are not limited to curriculum- a bunch of resources near you!
And these days video, website and someting technology resources are very wonderful teaching tool. Also,Resources can be helpful developing teacher’s own curriculum preparing curriculum.
